Wedding dresses in the USA and Canada are predominately ballgown, a-line, fit and flare, mermaid, sheath column and long but in recent years, we have also made a lot of short wedding dresses. This tea length wedding dress was made for a bride in Southern California and was ideal for her beach wedding, where a full length wedding dress with train would have been impractical. Also, she said the selection in California bridal stores was limited and expensive. Her choice was for simplicity with vertical ruching on the bust leading to an elegant horizontal ruched waist band with a floral border. Simple, elegant and beautiful.
