Returns Policy

This page contains a detailed outline of our returns policy and also contains information regarding color of garments ordered, canceled orders and payment responsibilities of any taxes, duties, tariffs and brokerage fees. 


Return Policy


  • Before returning any item to us, please read and follow the instructions below. You can also contact our Customer Service Department, where one of our staff will be glad to help you.


  • Please make sure that you have read and understand our return policy and ensure that all criteria are met before physically sending any items back to us.


  • Monroe Bridal / reserves the right to charge a handling fee on all returned products.


We take great pride in our reputation for exceptional quality and excellent value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we'll assist you with a prompt refund or exchange if/where applicable.


General Returns and Refund Policy


Our business is built on providing high-quality garments at low prices and we believe that our customers deserve the best. In the unlikely event of you having to return the garment due to an error on our part, we will either replace the garment or issue a refund, based on a number of factors. Please note that we carefully check and record details of every garment before it is shipped to ensure it is exactly as ordered. 


If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we operate a conditional "Money Back Guarantee" policy as outlined below. 


The following "Terms and Conditions" apply:


  • You must notify Monroe Bridal / in writing by email to within 48 hours of the goods being delivered to your address.


  • We will send you a Return Application Form which you must fill out in full and send together with the garment to our address in Ireland. The garment must be unworn, undamaged, in its original condition, have the original tags and labels still attached and include the original packaging. Refunds, where applicable, are only available on Laila Monroe design dresses and not on designs that you send to us or that are not normally made by us. All returned packages must have a return authorization number on them.


  • The returned garment must reach us within 10 days.


  • After a thorough examination, if everything is in order, we will process your refund as follows:


  • If the dress is one of our designs and is a standard size, we will issue a refund for the full price you paid for the garment, including any original delivery charges. 


  • If the dress is one of our designs but is a custom size, we will issue a refund for 80% of the price you paid for the garment, including any original delivery charges. The reason for this is because as it is not a standard size, it will need to be altered before it can be considered as stock. 


  • If the dress is a design we don't normally make or a design you sent to us, we regret that we cannot offer a refund. The reason is that, while we will endeavor to make the dress as close as possible to the original design and finish, we can not guarantee to reproduce it exactly the same as the original and the fabrics may not be exactly the same. However, we will email photographs of the finished dress so that you can check it and approve the dress prior to it being shipped.  


  • Please note that in all cases, if you choose to return the garment, you will be responsible for the cost of returning it to us. Bear in mind that we have already incurred the cost of shipping it to you as well as the manufacturing costs and that the garment was custom made for you. We hope you will agree that this is a very fair policy.


We carefully check and record the information for each dress before we send it out, to ensure that the color and the size are exactly as ordered. It is essential to make sure you provide us with accurate measurements or sizing information and carefully check that the options you want are clearly specified on your order. We cannot be held responsible if you provide the incorrect measurements or size or if you do not clearly indicate the style and options you require. If there is a mistake on our part, we will issue a replacement or a refund immediately.






Please note that when judging a color on a computer monitor, the color displayed will vary depending on the calibration and quality of the monitor used and will not represent the color with 100% accuracy. To avoid any doubts, you can order a sample swatch of the material to be used. If the error is on our part, then we are happy to offer a replacement or a refund.






Stock Items


Almost all our bridal gowns are custom made to order but on rare occasions, we may have a few dresses available from stock. Orders for any “stock” item (not made to order items) that are canceled prior to being shipped qualify for a full refund.



Custom Made to Order


Please note that all our wedding dresses are custom made to order so please read this section carefully before placing your order. 


Any order for a custom made to measure dress may be canceled within 12 hours of you confirming the order. In such a case, a full refund will be issued.


Orders canceled between 12 hours and 72 hours of confirming your order will qualify for a 50% refund while any orders canceled after that time cannot be refunded.


Monroe Bridal / reserves the right to cancel, refund, or refuse any order. Monroe Bridal / shall not be held liable for errors or omissions in pricing.


All Canceled Orders must be notified to Monroe Bridal / customer support by email to: within the times as specified above.


We do NOT accept cancellations on Veils and other Accessories. All other charges are non-refundable including Shipping, Insurance, and any transaction fees.



Refund Currency


Our base currency is US Dollar. However, any refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original payment was made. 




Taxes, Duties, Tariffs and/or Brokerage Fees can not be held responsible for any additional charges such as local taxes, duties, tariffs or brokerage fees that may apply to international orders.
