Terms & Conditions of Sale

By placing an order on this website or via email with Monroe Bridal /, hereafter referred to as Monroe Bridal, you are offering to purchase a product and your purchase is subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to confirmation, acceptance of your order and payment of the amount due, in full by you. 


Please be aware that dispatch times may vary according to manufacturing time required and final quality checks as well as any changes made at your request. Any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from courier delivery delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. 


In order to form a contract with Monroe Bridal /  you must be over 18 years of age. Monroe Bridal /  retains the right to refuse any request made by you and Monroe Bridal reserves the right to close your account at its sole discretion. If your order is accepted by us, we will inform you of our acceptance by email. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods you are ordering. We use the United States Dollar as our base currency so the price of products may fluctuate in other currencies. All prices advertised are subject to such changes from time to time.  


Our Contract


Placing an Order

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgment e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgment and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us and we have received payment in full or as otherwise agreed in writing by us. 


 Pricing and Availability

While we endeavor to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in any quote given or in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as canceled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. Where applicable, prices are inclusive of VAT. Unless the item ordered qualities for “Free Shipping” delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly where applicable and included in the total cost.


Production of Orders

Normal production time for bridal dresses is 6 to 7 weeks but on occasions, it can be longer. We will advise you of the estimated production time when you place your order. Please note the information below regarding the terms relating to specific designs.


Regular Designs:

Dresses listed on our website have been made in our factory but because each dress is custom made to order, the finished dress may vary slightly from the one photographed on our website. From time to time, the fabrics, beading or embellishments may change slightly and in placing your order you except this.


Other Designs:

If you decide to order a dress that is not listed on our website, we require high-quality images of the front and back plus close up images showing the fine detail on the dress you wish to order. We will endeavor to make the dress as close as possible to the original but please bear in mind that the fabrics and embellishments and that we use will be as close as possible but not exactly the same as the original. If the images you sent to us are you not very clear, our designers will interpret the design as close as possible to the original as they see it.


Your Design:

If your order is a dress based on a design submitted by you or a variation or combination of existing designs by other manufacturers, we will require very detailed instructions regarding the dress you want us to make for you. In the case of your original design, we will need a fully marked up illustration of the design including instructions as to the fabrics, beading, embellishments etc. to be used. Please be aware that any new or unique designs submitted to us, will be interpreted by our designers and we will endeavor to produce the design as closely as possible to your visualized design but we cannot guarantee that the finished product will be exactly as you had envisaged.


Final Approval:

When your dress is finished, we will send photographs of the finished dress to you for approval. Is your responsibility to check carefully to make sure that the dress meets your requirements. If you require any changes or alterations to be made at that stage, please inform us in writing as soon as possible and we will, where possible, make the changes/alterations as per your request. Your order will only be shipped once you have given final approval of the finished dress. After reviewing the photographs we send to you, if you decide to accept the dress as is or instruct us to ship it to you without further work being carried out by us, you accept that we bear no further responsibility to carry out or to pay for any additional work that you decide to do or to you have done on the dress. Once we have shipped your dress on your instructions, you accept that we have fulfilled our obligations in relation to your order.


 Products Requiring Additional Purchases

There are a number of products listed on our website (Petticoats, Bridal Belts, Veils, Headpieces, Tiara’s etc.) that are only available to purchase with a dress. This is because the cost of shipping such products on their own is not cost effective. Any prices shown are as a guide only. In the case of Bridal Belts, we don’t list prices as each belt is custom made to size and to match the chosen bridal gown. The Belts shown are to give customers an idea as to the design styles available.  


Import Duty and Taxes

We don't add any tax and there are no other hidden charges. You pay what you see at Checkout - You pay for the goods + Shipping cost. If there are any customs or import duties payable, these are charged once the package reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the package. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary from country to country. We suggest you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.



 Errors & Inaccuracies

Despite our best efforts, this website may contain typographic errors or other errors and/or inaccuracies and as a result, it may not be complete or current. We reserve the right to correct any omissions, errors or inaccuracies and to correct/update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fill any orders placed that were based on incorrect information on this website including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.



Upon receipt of your order, we will carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your chosen payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfill the transaction. Goods will not be dispatched until this pre-authorisation check has been completed. Your card will be debited once the order has been accepted.
